If Justhink were here, he’d be, you know? I mean, everyone. My head. Whew.
nyaaa nyaaa cthulhu… fthghan!!!
Sheeeeeit!
It is only after examining this post the tenth time, on the second computer screen, that I have finally come to realize the truisms contained within this OP; and, indeed, without you to bring its truth to us, and how destitute indeed would we be?
I am resolute in my hope that this post serves, to whatever (ultimately finite) degree, the same purpose contained within your magnum opus.
Ace, is there hope for me?
Well, first the problem was the lack of animation frames. I suppose no one else ever tried to make a multi-imaged painting, so I was SOL when it came to cloning one to experiment with. First I tried cloning the moosehead, but all that did was move the animations where the antlers were. Not to mention that the painting hovered a good foot away from the wall. No good. So then I found a nice wall-light with five frames of animation. Perfect! I then created five paintings with the same frame, then used transmogrification to create the multi-imaged painting. Upon testing it out it was revealed that it looked ok on two angles, but when viewed at the 3rd and 4th, the were yellow bars five times as high and half again as wide as the painting eminating form it. No good! I’d forgotten that I had to use yellow 255 255 0! Changing to that color didn’t reveal favorable changes, so I transmogified it again, and tried once more. Yellow was gone, but now the edges of the frame bled through the wall. Beginning to feel like an asshat, I decided to replace the back of the painting with the back of another. This time the angle refractory produced a back frame that was no long even rectangular, it now was a lopsided five figured shape not covered in my high school geometry class. I began to lose hope when a sudden inspiration hit me: what if there was no back of the painting? I transmogrified it yet again, replacing the rear-frames with yellow 255 255 0, and low and behold, it now worked upon testing! The painting was squarely on the wall, and the frame no long bled through the walls. Although the painting is now invisible when viewed from behind, I’m more or less satisfied. Given how much work it required, I should charge more than 300 for it. Does everyone have these sorts of problems? Sheesh.
Hope? 'Punha, you can’t ask a New Yorker for hope. That’s a Southwest Virginia kind of concept.
Oh, please.
Don’t you remember the last time we did something like this, what happened?
Ace, once again I think I see fire, only to find smoke and mirrors;)
Touché.
No.
Yeah, you think so, but there are people to whom my post would make perfect sense, frighteningly enough. If you scroll all the way to the bottom of this page, it might start to make sense to you too http://www.geocities.com/simthingdifferent/christmas.html
But, you know, only if the squirrel gives you the decoder ring first, and you teach a boston cream pie to dance.
