Resources for Dem. party info

I’m looking for websites and possibly print publications that have info about the Democratic party- their stance on the issues, what current Dem. legislators are doing, why Democrats are better than Republicans (a topic we are not debating here, just wondering if there’s a website out there called RepublicansSuck.com or something) etc.

I’m the secretary for the College Democrats at my school, and we need to recruit new members and get more young people interested in politics. To do this, we’re having what we jokingly refer to as the “propaganda table” once a week where we can pass out literature to interested people. Well, I have to produce this literature. I’ve got a lot of other responsibilities, like a job, and my classes, and other things I have to do for the club, so I’m trying to do the least amount of work as possible. Preferably, I’d just print out (or cut out) a bunch of articles about the economy, or taxes, or health care, arrange them nicely, and make copies.

I already have some ideas- there’s obviously the Democratic party website, the NY Times, Washington Post, my local papers. So does anyone know of any good liberal websites or publications where I can find some good articles? And political cartoons are also great.

The DNC’s website is democrats.org. You can read their official platform.

You can use this page for information on all Democratic Senators and Representatives from every state. For state-level offices, you’ll need to look up the state party. Here’s the Democratic Party of New York. Note that official platforms and positions of state parties may differ from the national one.
