Yay! Here’s hoping Lumpectomy Lite does everything it’s supposed to, and then some!
And I saw a bumper sticker the other day and thought of you – superimposed over the obligatory pink ribbon was, “SAVE THE TA-TAS!”

Glad to hear it!
So far, so good! (don’t want to jinx anything.)
But hooray!
Seconded! Take care of you first, everything else has to come after that!
Glad to hear the good news, though, and will say more prayers for your next surgery!
That’s fantastic! Best of luck, although you’ve proved you don’t need it!
great news on righty. i hope lefty does well and heals quickly from round 2.
I needed a bright spot of news! Good on you–and best of luck with your Lumpectomy Lite.
Such good news! And don’t push make the Lumpectomy Lite…they can’t appreciate you if you don’t let things fall apart on them once in a while to remind them!
Could you explain the difference between pre-cancerous, and becoming cancerous?
Ivylad was most displeased with my decision to push back my surgery. I think I’ll call the doctor’s office and tell them I’ll keep the original surgery date after all. Sigh.
kittenblue, I’m not sure what the difference is. The one they thought was pre-cancerous is called an Atypical Ductal Hyperplasia, the one that was cancerous is an Invasive Ductal Carcinoma. I’m assuming there’s all sorts of medical technology that can determine when abnormal cells are about to get even more abnormal.
Quite right. Fingers are still crossed.
Yay for the good news! And yay for keeping the original schedule.
Crossing appropriate (and inappropriate ;)) appendages that the mini-lumpectomy goes smoothly, too.
I’m so glad things are going well. I’m really glad you got that one that was borderline at this stage.
I’m really glad to hear this news–you are a strong person and I wish you all the best.
I’ve been wondering how you were doing and I’m so glad to hear that things look pretty good!
The area where the lymph nodes were removed is the most achy. It’s not red, but there’s a swelling under the skin near the incision. I’ll ask the surgeon about it when I see him next week.
That’s good news. I hope the next one goes well.
That’s great news!
keeping my boobs crossed for ya! (well not really keeping, I sunburned em & it’s a bit uncomfortable… but the sentiment was there! XD)
