Return of the Jedi? Your day job is creating spam email or something? Or did Trump break you when he broke Kathy Griffin?
Anyways, enjoy your trophy.
Honestly curious. What do you see happening in 6 months?

Hey, it worked fantastically for the Soviet bloc, I’ll have you know !
(seriously though, have you ever seen Soviet-era dental work up close ? That’s battlecruiser engineering, not doctoring.)

I’d like one of Trump’s defenders to cite any time his sort of thinking has worked to a country’s benefit. We had a booming economy in the 1950s, churning out automobiles, airplanes, televisions, steel, and a hundred other things. We had those industries because a generation before, people like Henry Ford, the Wright brothers, and Philo Farnsworth could see what the future was going to need and they wanted to be part of it. The U.S. embraced computers, space exploration, and biotech, and has healthy industries in those sectors. The Big Three automakers in Detroit sat on their laurels and made big gas guzzlers in the '70s when the market wanted smaller, more efficient cars, and Japan came into the market in a big way. We should be the first country making solar panels, not the last one digging coal mines.
The future has always belonged to those countries that accept it’s coming and take hold of it with both hands. Donald Trump would have us be the last country making buggy whips.

Hear, hear. I’ve said it before, I’ll say it again : wtf has happened to you, America ? You used to be cool.

In his case, that’s reaching upwards. And the barrel’s filled with manure.
I’m now picturing Thomas F. Wilson.
Bwahaha! Clothy posted a link explaining why that petition is crap?
Way to go, chump!
The good news is we know Clothy wont be coming back to this thread.
I eagerly await his chortling claim that he was masterfully “trolling” us again.
I appreciate the theme of post #23 being carried on in posts #24 and #25. For anyone afflicted by Trumption (mental condition, formed from “Trump” and “consumption”), here is a handy list of words to describe Trump’s (and his supporters’) mental acuity.
“Endeavor to Persevere” is one of my favorite sayings. I use it quite often.
Never change; Stay just the way you are.
Luke: “You will link me to the reverse of what you claim now…”
Clothy Fortuna: “I’ll link you to the reverse of what I claim now.”
Luke: “You serve your master well. And you will be rewarded.”
Clothy Fortuna: “I serve my master well and I will be rewarded…”
Luke (thinking): “Daaaim! The Force really does have a strong influence on the weak-minded!”
This is childish nonsense.
Of course the states can do that. So what? They could do it before the Paris agreement, and after, and any time in between. What does it have to do with Trump’s withdrawing from the Paris agreement?
If you (the state, the municipality, whatever) think something is a good idea (like cleaning up CO2 etc) - go ahead and do it, within your authority. Do you really need some kind of grand coalition of states to tell you to do it? Why?
Trump ends up looking stupid because he’s a moronic manchild who can’t play with others, whose histrionics get ignored while the adults in the room continue do adult things without him.
You know, you’re absolutely right. That’s an excellent way to look at it. It’s not like the entire US withdrew from the Paris Agreement - Trump alone did.
Flounce off, Felicia. Off you fuck.
Someone has a leak in their Aluminum Foil Deflector Beanie. You need to make a new one. Soon.
Well, hello, Childish Nonsense!
Heh. Oh, look, there’s more!
I’m glad we’re bailing out of it.
It’s easy to tel what the wrong side is on any issue. It’s the side that Clothahump is on.
Care to explain, rationally and with reputable cites, why?
I wouldn’t be surprised if Trunp’s next move were to announce a proposed tax on entities which do not convert to using more coal, American coal, of course, and federal restrictions on states that don’t go along with his mind-boggling intentional ignorance of science.
