I saw “Free” somewhere but can’t find it now. Help please?
After the Enemy Territory expansion pack was canceled, they put the finished multiplayer mode online for free. You can download it here and get the patch as well. (Or the Mac version, if that’s how you swing.)
Forgive me for being cautious, but can i download the program and patch without fear
of viruses - ads, for example?
Do you have up-to-date AV? I’d scan them to be safe, if you do download them.
As a matter of interest, the Xbox version of the game had the original Wolfenstein as an unlockable for completing the single player game.
I have Avast 4.8 Home and it’s up to date.
Problem is I don’t know how to scan the downloads. Does anyone know if
the program does this automatically? If it doesn’t, can you tell me how to do it?
Fact is,I’m old, very sick, on all kinds of drugs, etc.
Not too good with computers, either. 
I don’t know Avast but if it works like every other anti-virus program I’ve ever encountered then after you download the file you can click with the right hand mouse button on the file and find an option to scan it for viruses. Click with the left hand mouse button on that option and follow any steps that appear…
I tried that and there was no SCAN option.
So, hoping for the best, I downloaded the program and patch.
