Return to Castle Wolfenstein

It sounds to me like “Mein Leben (my life)”

I think they say “mein Liebling” = my darling. I really wish I was home in Sweden so I could play this game. Didnt bring my computer to Belgium, Im supposed to study this semester…

They are more fun to kill in Doom.

Does anybody know an easy way to sneak onto the truck that gets you to the rocket base? I offed the guys at the house, snuck around the long way and took out the guy on the first tower, got the guys at the end of the tunnel, and got the guy on the 2nd tower. I got the guy at the guard shack and got into a building on the base. But here I’m stuck. If I go after the guy on the water tower, somebody else sees me, and if I go after people on the ground, the water tower guy sees me. Anybody been past this yet?

I am at the final graveyard mission- the game has been great. The Dam mission was cool too. Killing the Uber Soldier is a major pain.

Better than Red Faction.

BTW- Compuexpert.com has it for $47 bucks- I even got cheapo overnight Fedex.

For the stuck guy- sneaking up the tower and killing the guard is key. I also snipered the two guards by the truck from the barracks with the super sniper rifle from the earlier mission. Remember don’t kill that last guard.

Multiplayer is pretty good so far as well.

This sounds cool.
What is multiplayer like? Are you on the same side?

Thanks elf6c. After I posted I went back and tried some different tactics. Now I’ve killed everybody except the last guy (who has to remain to open the gate). I’m in the building nearest the truck, but whenever I make a move to get to the truck, the last guy sees me and sets off the alarm. The guy doesn’t walk a patrol, so I can’t run while his back is turned. Any ideas?

zombies

I was doing a great job killing Nazis. Knifing them, cutting down a room of them with a submachine gun, even occasionally sniping them just to feel superior. Then I found the crypt, and wandered in.

zombies!

I had told myself, “Yeah, I’m a FPS badass. I 0wn3d in wolf3d. I’ll play on the ‘Death Incarnate’ difficulty.”

holy fuck, zombies!

Knee-deep in fog, ghastly hideous moans surrounding me, zombies crashing out of walls right next to me, crawling forward holding shields in front that ricochet my bullets back to me.

I think I’ll go watch Night Of The Living Dead. It was the first DVD I ever bought. Maybe they’ll have some advice for me on how to survive the onslaught of the undead.

…wait, they all died in that movie.

Fuck.

After everyone but the last guard was plant food, I went be the far right side (using the crouch to move)- the guard was at the shack on the far left and did not seem to see me that way.

See if that works.

“I’m a loitnant.”

Local stores don’t seem to have this game yet, so it looks like I’ll end up ordering it from Amazon where they are talking about 1-2 week availability. Just as well I guess, I think if I dived head first into a new first-person shooter my carpal tunnels would just explode. But you wait, I will be killing Nazi ninjas before Xmas.

I, unfortunately, have never played Wolfenstein. If someone is nice enough to lend me their copy for, er, a day or two…hehe. My address is 208 Ste…oops. Maybe not here. Yeah, anyways, anyone here remember Rise of the Triad? ROTT? Made by the same guys. I love that game. Now to go destroy some Nazis with my Drunk Missles. [madman] HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA!!![/madman].
