How is it that a prolific poster showing a join date of October 2005 is now registered as a guest and thereby I would assume is posting for free ?

http://boards.straightdope.com/sdmb/member.php?userid=55611 RT “joined” on 10-21-2005. Presumably he joined as a guest. Guest membership lasted 30 days, expired in November. Became a member around that time. Renewal would be keyed to the membership date–not the join date. His renewal date would have been in the last week (he posted yestereday). He hasn’t renewed yet either because:
- He decided not to.
- He doesn’t have the money right now.
- He didn’t notice he expired yet.
If #2, he should feel free to contact me.
