I know there are other folks here who watch this TV show, so please help me out. I missed the finale, but read a brief recap. Can someone tell me how Nolan escaped white-haired guy? Are all of Emily/Amanda’s Revenge plans completely bust? Any theories on what she will do to recoup her losses next season? Personally, I have to assume she made copies of any evidence that was blown up on the plane…
Emily rescued Nolan by turning herself over to whitey, telling him the evidence was in a bus locker. He took a lockpick out of her watch, but she had another in her sleeve. As he went to get the evidence before the police were automatically notified via a time delayed email, he left them there and she freed herself and Nolan, then told Nolan the real evidence was in his desk at home and that he should turn it over to the feds. Then she waited for whitey to return and they had a throwdown, with her winning but not killing whitey because of a flashback where she helped her dad rescue an injured bird on their porch.
How bust her plans are remains to be seen, as most of the evidence was in the plane explosion (caused by whitey), but Nolan managed to copy some of the evidence, including some indicating that Emily’s mom isn’t actually dead like she’d always thought.
Just speculation on my part, the plane explosion might be some sort of misdirect anyway, seems the type of thing that would happen on this sort of show, especially since the show loses a lot if Victoria was really blown up that way. But they still have plenty of material to work with, Emily’s mom, pregnant Amanda, overdosing whatsername (Emily’s half sister), the whole Initiative conspiracy, etc.
Great recap but tossing pregnant Amanda in at the end like that was cruel
Amanda is back and very pregnant with Jack’s baby. Emily found this out when she was going there (after dumping Daniel) to confess her identity and the entire revenge plot. When the plane blows up and Nolan shows up with the evidence she’s been sitting in the beach house for several hours staring into the fire.
Idle speculation: so is it going to turn out that not only is Emily’s mother alive, but that she’s the Big Bad?
Because on one hand, that would be pretty cool, and explain whitey’s line “you must get that from your mother.”
But on the other hand, Alias already did that.
