I have a Hopkins & Allen mfg. co. revolver, Pat. March 28, 1871. The name on it is Ranger 2 but I have no Idea as to the caliber. Also is it worth anything? Not in the best shape.

I also found one for sale on a web site, but the listing was expired and the pictures were no longer there so I couldn’t see the condition. The price wanted was $75.
Condition makes a big difference, so if yours is in rough shape, it’s probably not worth much.
Sometimes local PDs have gun buyback programs. The condition wouldn’t matter much for that. When our PD does that, they pay in Target gift cards.
