While you appear to be misunderstanding or misrepresenting RFK Jr’s argument (which actually tries to link Barbour’s opposition of the Kyoto treaty to global warming to the increase in destructive hurricanes), his actual argument is only slightly less dubious than what you have presented here.
I’m no fan of his since reading of his support for the position that immunizations, or thymerasol in particular, is causal in the onset of autism. He does thus seem given to dubious arguments based on tenuous connections.
However you interpret it, and I understand that he is really trying to skewer Barbour’s oposition to Kyoto, he is trying to make political hay while people are stranded in need of food and water, and are suffering without needed medications. I find that vile.
If Barbour supported the Kyoto Treaty we would’ve never seen Hurricane Katrina? Man, just when you thought the Kennedys couldn’t possibly get any dumber…
Indeed. It’s a good thing Eric the Red’s homeboys all drove Hummers, thereby warming the globe to the point where Greenland could support his colony…
And since Robbie :wally is in a dart throwing mood, I would like to hear some more of his misguided politicking by denouncing all presidents and governors of the states from this list of past hurricanes. It will really be a help to his cause…really.
