Rhinoceros - Has anyone seen (or heard) of this play?

Yeah, and it raises a few questions in my mind. The ad links to the site of a company called Soiltac, whose product is goo that you can spread on soil to keep dust from being kicked up when vehicles go over it or helicopters land on it. But there’s nothing on the site that I can find about “Gorilla Snot” except that the phrase is among their trademarks in fine print at the bottom of each page. What strikes me as curious is that Gorilla Snot is a goo used by sweaty-handed musicians to keep their grip on picks or drumsticks. It does not appear to be the same company selling goo under two different names.

This site suggests that “gorilla snot” is a military slang term for dust control agents, and the earliest citation given is from only five years ago. The musicians’ Gorilla Snot has been around since at least the early '90s.

I saw a play once at the Steppenwolf Garage that was about Lawrence Olivier and Orson Well’s performance of Rhinoceros in London in the 60’s.

Hopefully the actual performance fared better.

…and I have *no idea * why I was quoting AskNott in my last post.

Read it, seen it, produced it.

Our production included puppets for some of the Rhino bits. We even had a full scale Rhino foot smooshing a cat! (On a very small puppet stage)

I had to restrain the prop master from putting blood packs in the kitty puppet (OK - we had to restrain each other from doing it).

You mean the Fire Chief?
