Wow first he squelches my voice and tramples my first amendment rights by disabling comments on his video on Youtube… and now I find out that way back in 2003 he declared war on Christmas by wishing us all happy holidays?

Now, now, I remember when Obama showed up in Joplin after the tornado, for a very, very religious memorial service. Unlike Governor Jay Nixon (also from the Democratic Party), who gave an explicitly Christian little speech; Obama actually gave a very neutral, non-sectarian speech appropriate to a pluralistic country, without actually using the word, “Jesus.”
If that’s not proof the whole Democratic Party is out to crush religious expression, what would be?

Yep, I did. Here’s an entire children’s book (from 1998, even!) about telling your kids that two men holding hands is evil, and that acceptance of homosexuality “must be countered”.

As I pointed out over on Facebook, it’s sad but true: in the zoo that is American politics, unfortunately, the Giant Pander Bear isn’t an endangered species.
It’s not the same one either - the lining looked fluffier on the BB one but it was hard to tell from that pic since it cuts off just below the shoulder. But I found a shot from Brokeback that shows the full torso while wearing the jacket. Notice Perry’s has several horizontal seams, as well as a vertical zipper, that are absent on the BB one. And the style of the front pockets is completely different, with flaps on the BB one that are absent on Perry’s.
Sorry to rain on your parade, as he’s probably still a closeted homosexual (and his jacket wouldn’t have proved it anyway), but my insufferable urge to nitpick is overwhelming today.
Those are pretty astounding numbers. Normally I’d expect you’d get a bunch of dittoheads just punching the “like” button because he’s a Republican. But this ad is running at a 2.3% “like” rate.
I suspect that you could put up a UTube video praising the dismembering of kittens and get about that many “likes”

People like Perry are as common as dirt back in my native Texas. It’s because of people like Perry that I moved out of that racist, flag-rubbing, bible-thumping hell hole without ever looking back.
