Rick Santorum seeks to thrust his head further up his own ass

Arlen Specter is forgivable owing to possible senility. Rick Santorum, on the other hand, raises the bar of idiocy yet again. If legislation he has introduced is passed, the public won’t have free access to the weather forecasts being prepared by the National Weather Service, part of NOAA, which falls under the Department of Commerce. Senator Buttbreath wants those taxpayer funded forecasts to be made available to a firm called Accu Weather in State College, PA, so they can sell those same forecasts back to the public!

This editorial from the Allentown Morning Call lays it out-I read a similar article in the Harrisburg Patriot-News today, and couldn’t believe my eyes. A Google for Santorum+weather yields many hits.

So I guess he’ll want the NWS website taken town. What about those of us with scanners and VHF radios who catch NOAA broadcasts 24/7 on 162.40 mHz, et. al.?

My forecast for you Mr. Santorum is that I’ll be highly inclined to vote for Beelzebub if he runs against you if you keep up this crap. :non-smiling Wally: (PUTZ)

This 'un too.

Apologies, as I totally missed the referenced thread. Mods may close this as duplicitive. My bad.
