They didn’t like what I said: that most things can be considered “exploitation” if you choose to look at it that way… a secretary is “exploited” for her typing skills, for example. I was making the point that taking your clothes off for money wasn’t “being exploited” in any bad sense of the word, if it was by your own decision. It didn’t go over well.
Yes, actually. I was on the news once in high school, juggling… and I was interviewed by Fox Files, even though they never aired my footage… and ZDTV did a piece about my site that had lots of pictures of me… and a film crew from a German tv network came and interviewed me in my house for about a half an hour once. I didn’t get to see that one, but I got a lot of email from Germans who said it was a good bit. My bubblewrap page was on CNN Headline news, but they didn’t mention me, I’m afraid. Speaking of my bubblewrap page, it was recently mentioned in a comic strip
Opal, I think you look great. I love that you wear that flower ring on your head. I used to have one but lost it(at woodstock 94 I think, I don’t know, some memories are hazy) I loved it, it made me feel so peaceful. I love your site BTW, I only wish I had an ounce of the talent you have. As Ricki would say, You go, girl.
so you found a girl who thinks really deep thoughts. what’s so amazing about really deep thoughts? Tori Amos
Opal! Didn’t you know in advance when the show was going to be broadcast? I wish you would have given advance notice–I would have watched! What was the theme of the episode, so I can look for it in reruns? And you didn’t look fat and bloated.
—Not a Ricki Lake fan; prefer Montel.
Remember, I’m pulling for you; we’re all in this together.
