So, the game didn’t go that well for the Riders most of the way, with the defence just not able to stop the Esks.
The highpoint of the game, though, was a defensive play - the Esks were threatening, Ray tossed to a Eskimo, who caught it and then fumbled it right in front of the Riders goal line.
And then Omar Morgan ran in, scooped it up without breaking a step, and took it all the way for a touchdown! That was easily the most exciting play of the year, in my opinion.
Then the defence went back to its humble ways and let the Esks come back and pull it off.
Still, rain and all, I’m glad I was at Taylor Field to see it !
