Right-to-Lifers: How Does Miscarriage Fit In?

Wasn’t that the case under Ceausescu-miscarriages were investigated to make sure they weren’t induced by the invididual to terminate the pregnancy?

What about a pregnant woman who goes on a fairground ride with a warning to pregnant women/heart patients etc not to ride, and miscarries?

What about a seven months pregnant woman who goes skiing and has a fall and miscarries?

What about a two months pregnant woman who had been trying for a baby for some time with her partner, but did not yet know she was pregnant, who goes skiing and has a fall and miscarries?

What about a young girl that got raped and pregnant, and turned to drugs and alcohol to obliterate her pain, and miscarried or had a stillbirth?

I mean - in the end - where does it end?

There’s an old adage. “Hard cases make bad law.”

Most pro-lifers would love to just reduce the number of abortions performed for the sake of the mother’s convenience, which is the vast majority of them.
