Rights of a tenant

I just found out yesterday that the house I’m renting in Arizona (I know it matters) was foreclosed on last Friday and sold. The new owner want me to go to a month-to-month and as of now I have refused wanting to stay until the end of the lease on January 2nd. He wants to sell the house and wants it to be available to show.

  1. Can he force us to leave before the lease is up?
  2. What are our rights about letting people in the house with a realtor? I’d rather not be forced to let people wander around my home. Not to be an asshole, but why should I be inconvienced and have people possibly paw through/take my stuff while the realtor’s back is turned because HE wants to sell it?

Look up the Protecting Tenants at Foreclosure Act of 2009 and contact an attorney in your area.
