I am bored today. So I’m doing a lot of wasting-time activities.
So I was reading about digit ratios. Apparently a lot of things are correlated with the ring-to-index finger length ratio, with higher scores being linked to masculinization and differences in visual/spatial skills in both males and females. So I looked at my fingers. Left hand says I’m quite the lady, with a strikingly long index finger relative to the ring. Right hand says I might need to invest in a nice razor, but I don’t have to worry about growing a penis yet, since the ring finger is just a tad longer than the index. The differences in my hands are astounding to me. They don’t even look like they belong to the same individual.
Anyone familiar with this type of analysis? If so, which hand would be the most sensitive indicator? I would go with the dominant hand, except that I’m not sure if this is my biologically-determined dominant hand or if it has only “acquired” dominance due to having an anti-leftist upbringing.
