Ringo gave unto us a new word yesterday in the Pit.
I swear to god, Ringo, just for a second there, I thought “yexy” was a computer term which which I am not familiar (and they are legion). Then I looked at the keyboard and realized you had mistyped “text”. Then I shrieked with laughter at the best typo I’ve seen since “insluted”!
I love you, man! I’m going to see to it that “yexy” goes into the lexicon (yexycon?) along with “Hi Opal!” and “Gotcha Ya!”
And let’s have another go at “Ai-ya!” That was starting to gear up right before the Winter of Our Missed Content. I should have tried to bring it back.
MS-Windows is a yexy OS. Linux is not yexy at all, usually. AIX is seen as less yexy yet, but the price is so steep even IBM is loathe to use it. Hence Blue Gene will run Linux. Blue Gene is not yexy in the least.
I couldn’t for the life of me figure that out. My excuse is that on my ergonomic keyboard, the “t” and the “y” are separated by about an inch and a half. Otherwise, I’m sure I would have figured it out. Yeah, that’s it, I would’ve. Would too!
