Butch Trucks, founding member and longtime drummer for the Allman Brothers Band, died Tuesday at age 69.

He was a good guy. I met him several times at Pegasus Studios. RIP Butch.

I saw that. “Whipping Post” got me through sophomore year of college. RIP
The Allmans are possibly the best American band ever.
Trucks really should not have had the bad luck to die the same day as Mary Tyler Moore.
