I don’t hate Ted Kennedy or think that this defines him, but he did murder a woman and got away with it due to his power and influence, and I’m uncomfortable with him being lionized completely without it being recognized.
As far as I know he never changed the behavior that killed her. He denies being drunk, but why would he flee the scene, and isn’t the water there like incredibly shallow? Like only deep enough to submerge a car?
If any of us peons did this we wouldn’t have gone on to be a famous Senator we would’ve gone to jail.
