I pit Crafter Man-In regards to Ted Kennedy's Death

I read this Quote this morning on my way out to work and it bothered me but I didn’t have to to respond.

I mean seriously. I spent a good amount of time listening to NPR interviews of his friends and rivals. Even the people who had the most reason to dislike him at the very least respected him for his ability to do his job.

To say you can’t think of one good thing make me believe you must be one of the most ignorant people on the board. I can understand people hating him but for someone to be unable to give credit where its do is sickening.

Even PatriotGrrrl could come up with something good to say about him

I did laugh out loud at that.

I hope this thread gives the few conservatives on the board a place to vent or celebrate if needed. I’d hope the rest of you aren’t as profoundly ignorant.

yawn

I’m sure there are good things to say about him, but the first thing that comes to mind when I think of him is how he should have went to prison for manslaughter.

You’re pitting Crafter_Man for a lack of effort in finding nice things to say about Ted Kennedy? Really?

Now I know why Shodan is always talking about butthurt liberals.

Maybe if you found something good to say about Rush Limbaugh he might come around?

Worst.
Pitting.
Ever.

Ted Kennedy is not the most loveable of liberals. He did kill someone driving off a bridge. To boot our neighbors owned a high end French restaurant in the eighties and Ted was grabby enough that they refused to use female waitstaff to serve him. If you admire his political work then there is much good to be found there, and I certainly admire much of what he did. As a person he had some demons that he didn’t fully conquer until quite late in life.

I am not surprised to find conservatives don’t much mourn his passing the same way liberals didn’t much mourn the passing of Jesse Helms.

I think everybody who doesn’t like this pitting should at least think of one good thing to say about it.

He’s made a lot of money knowing how to pander to the mentally deficient.

It’s light on calories?

I think if Rush died, I couldn’t think of one good thing to say about him.

I dont know much about Ted, but I’ll assume that fewer than 99% of the things he said are lies, which would make him at least 1% better than Rush.

Rush Limbaugh is a talented storyteller. If you’ve ever listened to one of his stories about a topic that isn’t controversial you’d probably get what I’m talking about. One time I listened to him tell a story about meeting Shimon Peres, he described him very well down to his queer tics. He said that he buckled and unbuckled his belt through the whole thing. That struck me as being kind of creepy but Rush while thinking it was odd didn’t really find it so, he was impressed by Peres and liked him.

You give Rush too much credit.

“he should have went to prison”???

The Grammar Police are going to charge you with not having went to English class often enough.

“Hey, leavings me a lone. I types this on Cyrillic keyboardings.”

This thread won it has been.

I don’t expect anyone put effort into finding good things to say. The mans been serving this country for nearly 50 years and has been at the forefront of numerous important pieces of legislation. It’s brutally ignorant to say you can’t think of a single thing.

Sure. He’s influential in American politics and knows how to motivate his base. When he speaks it is with conviction.

Yeah, I guess using the went instead of gone just turned that whole sentence into incomprehensible gibberish.

His brother’s and sister were awesome? Both of his brother’s were handsome devils? His brother Bobby and his sister Eunice were practically saints?

How’s that?
