Noted Sadlers Wells ballerina & actress Moira Shearer has died.

I coincidentally just finished watching “Peeping Tom” (courtesy of NetFlix). She had red hair that made Rhonda Fleming look like a piker.

That’s sad. I noticed that the Red Shoes was on telelvison here a couple of weeks ago.

Yeah, she was definitely a highlight of Peeping Tom. What a presense she had! Have you ever seen The Story of Three Loves? A rarity, last I heard, but see it if you can.

She is completely gorgeous and compelling in The Red Shoes, an amazing performance.

I liked her in Peeping Tom too but ach, she should have known that the creepy guy with the inexplicable German accent and pointy camera stick was trouble.

A sad loss. A really wonderful actress and ballerina.
