Ronnie Claire Edwards, who played Corabeth Godsey on The Waltons has died.
ETA: I just noticed that stupid article says she played Corabeth Walton which is wrong.

The character was actually John Walton’s 2nd cousin, and appears in the Waltons wikia as Corabeth Walton-Godsey.
When she joined the show, she was Corabeth Walton. She became Mrs. Godsey after she married Ike. I always liked their relationship.
I always liked the incredibly strange name Micheal Learned. That it was a woman (still the only Mike girl I know), and the way it was pronounced (LER-nuhd)…

I always thought her name was a form of the Biblical female name Michal (King David’s first wife was called Michal).
Oops, I had forgotten about the ‘being John’s cousin thing’ but, still, I’m pretty sure she was known by Godsey longer in the show’s run than she was known by Walton.
