Timely Question: The Waltons

Yes, I am guilty of being THE last to warm up to a show. I am the last hold-out (probably) to start watching the Waltons. Anyway, two questions:
a) What is Olivia’s maiden name? Do they ever say?
b) In what season does Ike and Corabeth’s daughter first appear on the show? Where does she come from? Is she adopted? (I get the impression she doesn’t appear as a baby.)

Daly is Olivia’s maiden name, per:

I’m guessing that this site might be the most detailed site devoted to the show and will have information on Ike and Corabeth’s daughter.

(When searching, beware of the Walton Family Foundation site—it’s unrelated to the show, even though it discusses an “Olivia Walton”!)

ETA: Ninjaed by less than five seconds. I’m leaving mine.

Aimee Godsey was adopted. They had gone to adopt a baby, but it wasn’t available and they chose Aimee instead.

Never seen one single episode and don’t intend to start now. Not a Richard Thomas fan.

Not a fan, here. I’m not expecting to ever forgive Richard Thomas for winning David Carradine’s Emmy. Kung Fu was a much cooler show.

And now I’m living in John-Boy’s girlfriend’s apartment*. Oh, the irony!

*(Well, her former apartment)

So sad that a family that poor didn’t end up with any of cousin Sam’s money. (Jokingly suggesting a connection to the Sam Walton who founded Walmart.)

A new TV-movie telling the story of the fictional Waltons becoming as rich as the real ones: FUND IT!

“Beverly Holy-billies”?

 (They were rather righteous, weren’t they?)
