RIP Victor Argo (you know him, really!)

(assuming you’ve seen any of the films he’s been in)

Maybe not by name, but check out his face:

His IMDB page:

He’s one of those good character actors with an unforgettable face who shows up and you think “there’s that guy!” It’s nice to know his name now, though too bad the knowledge came after he died.

:frowning:

What a shame. I saw him in November live onstage in Anna in the Tropics at the Royale. He was the warm, wise head of the family and, as a Nuyorican, had said how proud he was to be working with an all-Latin cast (which included Jimmy Smits, Daphne Rubin-Vega, and Priscilla Lopez). He was very convincing and sympathetic and deserved the standing ovation at the end that he got.

His Broadway career was about to take off. Too bad. RIP, Victor.
