FWIW, the San Francisco Giants just announced that they are restricting admission to the park to people who can show either a vaccination record or a negative test.
And have they said what kind of vax record they will accept? Will flashing the wallet card do?
Here’s what their website says:
“ Fully vaccinated fans can bring a paper or electronic copy of their completed vaccination card for entry.”
If things go well, I’ll get vaccinated in June or July. Not earlier. Because there are government rules, including mandatory home office, I can work from home. There are companies who are already forcing their employees to be in the office, because the companies think their employees have to be in the office for their work. Many of their employees disagree.
When they do open restaurants up, I expect it might be only outdoor seating, with lots of space in between tables. I might go to a restaurant in that situation, as long as the waiters are masked. Or I might keep using delivery and take away.
We need the restrictions. Otherwise those of us who want to do the social distancing will be expected or forced to go into the office, go to meetings, etc.
I just got a notification from Wired, with the headline “Vaccination passports are coming. Here’s what you need to know”. So apparently, it’s a done deal.
