Obviously, nobody good debuted in 1981. 
No offense to anybody, but it seems like the Hall tried to clear its backlog this year.
Usually I can look forward to hearing the set of performances by the inductees. This year? I’d rather hold a microphone near Miles Davis and listen to him turning in his grave.
The bands themselves (or what’s left of them) don’t hold much promise for a live performance. But I’d like to hear an all-star lineup of rockers doing Skynyrd covers. That could be pretty fun.

It occurs to me that it would be sweetly ironic for Neil Young to get up on stage and handle some of the vocals on “Sweet Home Alabama.”
