About time!

The induction concert ought to be something.

Free The Rush Three!!!

Skynyrd? Sure - that’s great!

But Black Sabbath got in!!!

Shit - hell HAS frozen over!

Man, they are making up for a lot of missed ones this year…

Obviously, nobody good debuted in 1981. :stuck_out_tongue: No offense to anybody, but it seems like the Hall tried to clear its backlog this year.

Usually I can look forward to hearing the set of performances by the inductees. This year? I’d rather hold a microphone near Miles Davis and listen to him turning in his grave.

The bands themselves (or what’s left of them) don’t hold much promise for a live performance. But I’d like to hear an all-star lineup of rockers doing Skynyrd covers. That could be pretty fun.

Sigh. Still no Guess Who.

And has anybody else noticed that the Google links on this thread are all for places to buy disposable lighters? Man, is that thoughtful or what?

It occurs to me that it would be sweetly ironic for Neil Young to get up on stage and handle some of the vocals on “Sweet Home Alabama.”
