Someone watching the debates going on tonight said the candidates were asked about this, and Bobby Jindal said that Christian business owners are the REAL victims.
I have no idea if this is true or not, but it honestly wouldn’t surprise me.
Not to mention that in the picture I saw, there was nothing attached to the device that looked like explosive. Furthermore, one thinks they could have asked the engineering (?) teacher about it.
The whole thing reeks of a bunch of paranoid bigots picking on a little kid.
I know about that part… I think the engineering teacher had a responsibility to speak up and be an advocate for Ahmed later when the attacks started, and tell the administration and police that Ahmed put together a digital clock to show him. I haven’t heard if he played any role after the fact.
Do you know what’s amazing? You’ve been here a full year, you’ve made 100 posts, and every single fucking post that you have made, without exception, has been a snide political attack. You didn’t even start out with a “Hi!, this is my first time here, and I’m interested in such and such, I watch this, I do that, and my interests are this that and the other thing!” All we know about you, the only information you have divulged about yourself, is that you are a hate-filled little shit of a troll.
bosb (May I call you bosb?), is there any chance of you actually trying to talk to people here, or is this empty, extremist sloganeering pretty much all you’re ever going to bring to the table?
These sentiments always confuse me. Having a hateful, fearful view of another group I can comprehend (as in, I know why they might think this way, even though they are wrong), but what’s up with the bit about liberal love affair? It doesn’t even make sense.
Because liberals actually don’t think most Muslims are harmful, and advocate dialogue, as opposed to indiscriminately bombing Mecca into smoldering ruins.
