RO: When your child is "too nice to people..."

There’s a right way and a wrong way to teach your child about Stranger Danger. Hiring a stranger to kidnap your child at gunpoint is the wrong way. Read the whole thing; it boggles the mind.

Bunch of fucktards if there ever were any.

I don’t have children but I do know this: you can’t make your kids be good, but you can turn them into monsters, and these morons, even if the intention of their little ploy was good, seem to be well on their way to turning what sounds like a good kid into a monster. I hope they never get to see him again, even through prison bars.

As I said to someone elsewhere on this topic, it’s difficult to imagine that four so-called adults got together and all agreed that this was a good idea. Doesn’t someone in that group say, “Hey, wait a minute. What might go wrong with this?”

Amazing what Firoved was able to do to that boy while he, Firoved, was “unable to stop crying” and “still unable to see”. Whoever wrote that article sucks.

The four adults who were arrested also suck, of course. I could easily vote for the death penalty for these obviously defective “people”.

Damn, that kid will never be right after this.

"And that’s why you always leave a note!"

My first thought!

Nothing like scarring your child for life in an attempt to prevent him from being scarred for life.

“That sounds like talk from someone who hasn’t had enough meth.”

I wonder if they planned to take his pants off or if Firoved just really got into the role.

Firoved is legion.

He also looks like one of the kids on “Head of the Class.” I am ashamed that I thought of “Head of the Class.”

So, they’re charging the mom with kidnapping. She presumably has sole custody (there is no father mentioned), so is that actually a legit charge?

I mean, throw her ass in jail for 20 years for child endangerment, but can you kidnap your minor child?

And, if she were in on the scheme (which is a little hard to tell from the write-up - seems like the idiot aunt was the ringleader), is kidnapping going to hold for the others? She basically gave them permission to pick up her child, right?

So, do you think he was ad-libbing, or was it scripted? That’s some hard-core imagery there. My parents only threatened me with Baba Yaga coming and taking me away if I wasn’t nice.

It’s like the movie Fargo, with less people being put through woodchippers.

Unfortunately.

See Groupthink.

Say, does anyone know which county Troy (Lincoln County) is in?

This reminded me of that show and I was just looking it up on Wikipedia. I am appalled to discover that most of the “kids” on that show are now in their fifties.

I’m shocked, shocked to see that this didn’t happen in Florida, as I originally assumed it must have.

I live in the St. Louis area (about an hour away from Lincoln County), but have friends who moved up that way. I wish I could say that these people were the exception and not the rule.

Fun factoid: there is a gas station/movie theater up in Troy, MO.

on the plus side, I’m fairly certain the kid will never trust another stranger.

Or relative.
