Road Rage on a Motorcycle? Bad idea Jack.

Can’t imagine why a motorcyclist thinks aggressive, road rage, driving is a good idea.

one ton car vs motorcycle. Guess who wins? :stuck_out_tongue:

There’s been so many times these a-holes on motorcycles pass me illegally. Pipes roaring. My entire car vibrates. They think they are such bad asses. * Born to Be Wild *and all that other bullshit.

I’m Glad no one got killed or too badly hurt. Maybe this taught them a lesson. Show some respect on the road and get a damn muffler for those pipes.

Really? A guy runs his car into a motorcyclist and his passenger and this makes you smile?

All the quote says is that there was some kind of road rage incident. It could have been entirely the guy in the car who flipped out.

I can’t imagine thinking this is in any way amusing or the cycle “had it comming”

What zoid said. That’s closer to attempted murder than just deserts.

You haven’t had these motorcycle jerks pass you on a double yellow line before? Pipes roaring so loud you can feel it in your steering wheel? They are endangering everyone on the road. Motorcyclists are notorious for whipping in and out of traffic.

I have dozens of times in the past few years, and it’s made me want to retaliate. Never have because I don’t want to go to prison. Also no matter how furious I may be there are lines of violence I won’t cross.

But, yeah this article seems like payback to me.

I have, and it pisses me off. I’d be thrilled to see them pulled over getting a ticket, or even arrested for it. I won’t shed any tears if they’re hurt in an accident that’s their own fault. But I don’t want them rammed.

I also don’t want to get rammed myself if I inadvertently piss off somebody who already hates all motorcyclists.

Who’s getting paid back? Motorcyclists in general? Fuck that noise. It’s assault, not payback.

I’m glad no one got hurt too seriously. I’m sure the driver in the car will be getting prison time.

I rode motorcycles myself when I was in my twenties. Small ones that weren’t ear piercing loud and I rode very conservatively. I was trying to save money on my commute to work.

We have some very aggressive motorcyclists around here. Two in my neighborhood that wake me sometimes at night with their pipes. They come roaring in from the bars at 1 or 2 in the morning.

I admit my own anger may have shaded my reaction to the article. We don’t know what the motorcyclist did to provoke the car. For the guy to literally chase them down implies it must have been something. It takes a match to light a fire.

I’m not saying some of these guys don’t deserve a punch in the face.
A punch in the face ON THE SIDE OF THE ROAD, OUT OF TRAFFIC, OFF THE BIKE.

Unless your Jack Fuckin’ Bauer thwarting a terrorist plot to anally rape the Lincoln memorial, ramming someone on a bike should be jail time.

Uffff… I wish people weren’t so stupid… when they get behind the wheel.

 Driving is easy… really… don’t dally, get on the right edge, move along. Pay attention and be smart.

I don’t really give a shit what the motorcyclist did. There’s no excuse for running someone down with your car. And the “ha-ha they got what they deserved” tone of the OP is pretty fucked up, considering that the only evidence demonstrating that the motorcyclist did anything at all inappropriate exists entirely in the OP’s head. If you think that road rage is only ever directed at motorists who have done something to deserve it, I politely invite you to drive around this city for a while. Or any city.

Sorry. I realize harming anyone no matter what the provocation is wrong.

There’s been several movies with funny scenes where motorcycles got run over. Terminator II has some very cool scenes with motorcycles and cars. The news article triggered memories from those movies and I laughed. My bad.

Real life - the cars driver will be heading to prison. Depends on the charge. If they go with attempted murder he could be facing serious time.

Fair enough - I think we’ve all posted stuff we’ve regretted.

Ace I ride a bike and have had thoughtless/careless/road raging cagers (car drivers) put my life at risk on a daily basis. Nothing the bike rider could have done deserved being run over like that! You don’t like loud pipes, I don’t like having some cagers 2000 lb. barge’s front bumper parked less than 5 ft. off my back wheel on the freeway while the driver puts on her makeup and reads the morning paper.
