Rob Zombie on TCM

Of course not. Yet old movies continue to find an audience–albeit a rarefied one–without such “enticements.” I mean, there will always be enough of an audience for such movies to survive; I just hope TCM isn’t lunging for something bigger than mere subsistance. Being a valuable resource for such films has always been “good enough.” Since they don’t sell advertising, demographics–even viewership–is ultimately irrelevant. The fact that suddenly it’s relevant worries me; will it just become another AMC? Perish the thought.
