Robert J. Sawyer

I discovered Robert J. Sawyer a few years ago, when I picked up the Neanderthal Parallax, and I’ve read and enjoyed every book of his I’ve come across since. None of them really stand out to me except for that first trilogy of books, but I’ve still found them all light, enjoyable reads. Is anyone else a fan of his work?

I’ve read a few of his works and enjoyed them; Starplex and Illegal Alien are two I especially like, and have recommended to others.

Yep; been reading his stuff for a few years. He uses the conventions of science fiction to explore humanity’s foibles very well.

I enjoyed the Neanderthal Parallax as well, and most recently Mindscan. The Terminal Experiment and Flashforward were also good. He has a website if you’re interested.
