Robot Chicken Star Wars- Joke stolen from SDMB?

I tried doing a seach for the thread, but I had no luck. In any case, there was a discussion here a while back about Yo Momma jokes and someone posted the simple line:

“That’s no moon. That’s YO MOMMA!”

IIRC, it was made by a member who posts frequently, but my memory is fuzzy on it. I also assumed it was original, but I could be wrong about that.

Well, I just finished watching the Robot Chicken Star Wars Special, and there was a skit about Luke and the Emperor in a “Yo Momma fight.”

Guess what joke came up? I did a google search for the joke and the earliest occurance I found was in February of '07. The thread I remember was quite a bit older than that.

Anyone have any ideas about this?

I’m sure that ‘Yo Momma’ jokes didn’t originate here.

Oh, I see you’re talking about a specific joke. Oops… Sorry.

It might just be coincidence - many mother insult jokes are size-oriented, and the ‘that is no moon’ quote is quite well-known - I’ve heard it referenced in other contexts where something surprisingly large was being indicated.

Yeah, there’s a good chance it’s a coincidence.

Here’s the skit in question:

Star Wars Yo Momma Fight

Of course, it could be that Seth Green is an incognitio SDMB member. Hmmm.

Definitely a coincidence, as its based on one of Obi-Wan’s lines in the movie: “That’s no moon, it’s a space station”

There probably hasn’t been an original “Yo Momma” line since yo momma was born.

No I’m not!

I mean, uh…

What a terrible thing it is to lose one’s mind. Or never to have a mind at all.

Like yo mamma!

Darn it. Now I’m pulling my hair out trying to find the thread in question. My search-fu is weak.

I’ve heard that Quayleism in audio form on the radio once (I believe it is one of the few that he actually did say) and I recall it as “What as waste it is to lose one’s mind. Or, having no mind can be very wasteful. How true that is.” I may be wrong, though, since most Internet sources have the second part as “not to have a mind is being very wasteful.”

As for the matter at hand, I think it’s just a coincidence. I thought it was the lamest of the jokes of the sketch, but then I realized that Palpatine’s insults were probably intentionally supposed to be lame. I’m still amused by Luke’s though. Your momma’s so dumb, she spent all day saying “am not” to Artoo! Your momma’s so dumb, she went all the way to Bangkok to get a TIE fighter!
