I love this little gem. Wish it was a full half-hour.
Who else is watching it?
On Cartoon Network’s Adult Swim, for the unconverted.

We Tivo it so we don’t miss an episode. It’s pretty funny at times, and at others it seems strained. Don’t think it would work at a full half-hour, unless it was a “best of” show filled with the longer clips. Like Noah’s Ark, the Cannonball run and the A-team. Those were crazy .
I’ve seen four episodes thus far - loved them all.
The weakest was probably the one with the Educational Wrestling Federation, and the Oprah bit, but even that one was pretty good.
I love the “Movie Spoilers” short.
Vader: “No, I am your father.”
Luke: “NOOOOOO!! That’s impossilbe!!!”
Vader: “Yes, and Princess Leia is your sister.”
Luke: “NO…wait…That’s…highly improbable.”
Vader: “And the Empire’s fleet will be defeated by a bunch of primitive Ewoks.”
Luke: “Now that just doesn’t seem likely at all.”
FADE TO BLACK.
FADE IN.
Vader is drinking coffee and leaning against the railing.
Vader: “Oh, yes, and when I was a little boy, I built C3PO in my bedroom.”
Luke: “Oh, come on! If your not even going to try, just give up!”
The bad thing about RC is it comes on Sunday nights. That means I have to DVR it, and then wait an entire week till Saturday when my girlfriend can come over and watch it. Actually we’ve seen them all so it’s not an issue at the moment, but when the new episodes start up in 2006 it’ll be back to waiting hell.
Oh, and while I’m at it…
“So get cho ass checked, sucka!”
I’ve been a fan of Twisted Toyfare Theater for years, so it’s natural that I would enjoy the show. What kills me is how many of the celebrities depicted on the show are voiced by the actual celebrities.
I agree that the skits are hit-or-miss in terms of quality, but it doesn’t really bother me since most of them are really short anyway.
Robot Chicken is … mostly annoying. But when it’s good, it’s great. C.f. the Great Pumpkin peanuts bit, which might be the most inspired piece of comedy I’ve seen in a long time.
The one where William Shatner goes to sleep and his toupee walks off to become some sort of James Bond hero was mildly amusing. The fact that it was really William Shatner doing the voice work, however, was hilarious.
They also air it on Thursdays at midnight*. Used to be they aired the same episode that would air on Sunday night, but the past few weeks it’s been a repeat of the previous Sunday’s show.

Am I the only one who finds Robot Chicken obnoxious? It has its moments, but compared to the rest of the Adult Swim shows it’s pretty lame.
Other than Venture Bros. Robot Chicken is the best original series Adult Swim has going for it. Aqua Teen is good, but its best days are behind it.* Sealab and Brak are off the air. The less said about 12 oz. Mouse and Tom Goes, the better.
I’m personally a fan of the darkest sketch on TV.
DARKEST SKETCH! DARKEST SKETCH! DARKEST SKETCH!
*Please make me eat my words.
Funniest one I saw was maybe five seconds long…
A little girl… hopping along the sidewalk. Her mom walking a few steps in front of her.
Little girl lands on a crack.
Mom’s back bends backwards and her eyes and mouth fly wide open.
<fin>
I laughed for DAYS!
Amen to that. I fnd it amazing that any fans of Adult Swim’s other shows (except Family Guy) like this lame ass crap-fest. This show looks & feels like it was written by a bunch of middle school AV geeks (and if it was it wouldn’t deserve better than a B-).
Blasphemy! How dare you even mention VB alongside this drek! Venture Brothers is possibly the best adult cartoon ever. Robot Chicken, um, isn’t…
I loved the dancing Voltron. It just looked so smooth.
I think the fact that it seems like it could have been made by high school geeks is part of the charm. I remember sitting around and talking about stuff like that. Making drawing about stuff like that.
ditto WOLFIAN…
remember “pimp my sister”? LMAO
GO TEAM VENTURE!
God, I love this show.
My favorite is either the Smurfs “Se7en,” featuring the real voice of Brainy Smurf, or the office familiarization video by Cobra. (“Hayul Cobruh!”)
