What are good guitars for Rock Band 3 for the PS3? I’m planning on getting the one that’s a real guitar with strings and all when it comes out in a few months, but I need a couple regular controllers in the mean-time.
But what are good ones?

I’d like to get my wife the Fender Bass*, but a lot of reviewers have commented that it often loses connection. Anyone know if this has been fixed, or good tricks for preventing the problem?
*Maybe. She likes playing bass, and the split strum bar would be something new for her. It might be too heavy though, or the button frets might be spaced too far apart. She’d actually prefer narrower frets to wider. Pointers to a lightweight guitar with narrower frets would be appreciated also.
This one is much cheaper than the others, but the reviews are mixed. Several talk about difficulty triggering Star Power by tilting. I’ve had that problem on some Guitar Hero games (seems to vary by game there), and don’t really want to deal with it again.
The Mustang Pro Guitar is out of stock currently, but does anyone have experience with it? How does it play? How is its reliability? I’ve gotten pretty good at fixing Guitar Hero guitars (for the Wii), but that’s a lot of buttons.
Any other ones I should look at?
