ROGER MORNEAU AND SATAN'S COUNCIL OF THE 1700's

That evil fiend! Oh, the humanity!

At least Satan has a council. It’s reassuring to know he’s getting good advice from his colleagues.

Word of advice if you’re ever at one of those Great General Council meetings - you do not want to be the guy that took the last donut.

You forgot the idolatry. Satan is apparently responsible for giving us People magazine and the E! network.

**Simple **is right: you are really tempting fate with this.

Thisappears to be one text that the OP is referencing (along with the youtube link above–thanks for this also, Simple). I’m wary of snap judgments, but my answer to the OP is that Morneau is utterly nuts, with less foundation to his ideas than most nuts. He might be a little more cogent than the Time Cube guy, but that’s about the best I can say.

Did you not read the OP? :stuck_out_tongue:

We do not know whether our new friend **chagqq **is a single person or a married person.

Little Nemo, you’ve inspired me.

You sure you’re not thinking of Jeanne Moreau?

If Satan basically gave us the foundations of this beautiful modern world, we should throw a ticker-tape parade. He’s saved billions of lives.

Gosh yes, modern medicine is so obviously evil!

And no second post from the OP. :dubious:

Thank you.

I am of course board-certified in Evil.

An actual devil doing creepy things and manipulating historical figures, it sounds like a good spooky story.
I’d certainly rather read about that then the Da Vinci Code.

Yeah, that was pretty much his top shtick. But you should really get there early; his card tricks are pretty good and he does this mean chainsaw-juggling disparaging act.

Cool.

And you didn’t spend four years in Evil Medical School to be called Mister.

Never heard of him till this thread. From what I have learned since, here is my response-

Was Roger Morneau really in a Satanic cult? Perhaps, perhaps not.

If he was, maybe the leaders did concoct this story.

Did Satan really convene a council in the 1700’s to come up with this plot? Very doubtful.

Has the theory of evolution & scientific development been a reason people give for why they turn away from God? Yep.

Does that mean they come from Satan? Not necessarily. People will use any reason, good or bad, if they want to turn from God.

Like many others, this religious anti-evolution myth assumes that Darwin is the sole source of evolutionary theory (or the inventor of it), and there’s nothing else that supports it. In reality, of course there’s basically a planet full of evidence.

So Satan would have to have the power to plant misleading evidence, in multiple lines of inquiry, including altering our very genetic code.

So if he had this power to achieve that, couldn’t he just destroy the world directly? Instead of planting fossils, he could plant poison, for example. When altering our DNA to trick us into believing evolution, why not introduce sterility? Or insanity?

And seriously, he’s going to hold a council about it? Who’s approval did he need? Dick Cheney?

It was a “motivational” meeting. Darwin ended up getting the Cadillac El Dorado. Wallace got the set of steak knives. Everyone else was fired.
