He’s really too old for the role, but Hogan would have been an interesting choice for Roland. The fellow does deeply-flawed hardasses extremely well.

I’d like to see Ryan Wynott as Jake. Of all the actors age 10-14 I’m currently familiar with, he’s the one that most closely resembles my mental picture of Jake.
