I know it is roller but when we were little we called them rolley coasters. Google doesn’t turn up anything so I guess other kids said it correctly.
Never heard rolley coaster. And wouldn’t it be “roly” as in “Holy moly what a roly coaster!”
Did you also say “sodey-pop”?
Never heard the term until I saw your thread title.
Nobody over the age of five says “rolley-coaster.”
Do you also eat pasgetti?
Agreed, “rolly coaster” is pretty clearly just a little-kid-ism that the OP and his family/friends used.
Samesies!

I have a wheelbarrel, dammit, not a wheelbarrow.
I think I’ll stop by the beer dock today after I ride the rolley coaster.
You said there’d be fudgeicles, Bart. Where’s the fudgeicles?
Snort!
My daughter used to say peenie butter sandwich.
And for a treat, I’d take her to Don Donald’s
And before I was 5 I used to say fruit tail cocktail.
Arthur quote from Larry Sanders:
“Its a rolley coaster ride.”
Larry: you mean ‘roller coaster’.
Arthur: Merry go round. . .rolley coaster.
I ate all my vegables.
One of my brother’s children would say “ice fream” as a very small child.
Did s/he have “ice fream” for brekkie?
We were never that indulgent.
