I was just looking at the Delegate count on CNN.com. I’ve heard a lot of people talking about Romney’s poor showing, but he’s as far ahead of Huckabee as Hillary is ahead of Edwards. This election seems to be all about people’s second choice candidates. It looks like Obama is every Democrat’s second choice and Romney is every Republican’s.
How does the delegate system work? What will happen to those delegates who are going for the losers who will likely drop out? Does the person who has those delegates get to choose who they go to?
