So what’s the Republican line on this, anyway? Is the claim still as originally parroted that Trump was acting on the recommendation of this guy, or is it like Trump told Lester Holt, that it was totally a Trump thing? Or, I guess, option 3: Is it a typically obfuscated refusal to answer?
