I have personally been doing backflips around the house since I heard this bit of news. Go to your downfall UNC, time for KU to take over!
(OK, I actually like UNC. Heck, I might go there for my grad degree. I am just giddy over the prospect of continual Royness at KU.)
Well I was afraid that would happen. I don’t feel too bad 'cause I knew whatever he decided, one school would feel great and the other would feel very disappointed. Besides, what would it have said about him if it had been an EASY decision?
I just hope the next coach we get is good and stays around long enough we don’t have to worry about this kind of stuff again.

I’m glad Roy stayed at Kansas, because I think that was the smart thing for him to do. There he’s establishing himself as a great coach, but if he went to UNC he would have been continually compared to Dean Smith. The same thing happened to Guthridge.
