Oh sure, if you want to get all technical.
And shit.

Which means that Will has had nine years to get over it. That’s longer than The Beatles’ entire career.
What does it take to get his juices flowing? A total stranger who gets wet because he left a gun in her apartment. (He left the gun in a total stranger’s apartment!)
I know who the menace to our security is. It’s Will.
Anybody watch this episode?
With Katherine and Will finally meeting, things are probably going to finally start coming together.
But this episode was probably my least favorite so far. The direction just seemed strange. Tanya was horribly unlikable (the scene with the rehab counselor was terrible (“I might have a problem with…living”), and what was with the obvious blue screen in the park scenes between Will and Katherine? Pretty distracting.
I’m also not sure what Maggie’s storyline with the ex-boyfriend has to do with anything, but at least it’s over and Kale got to be a badass so that was nice.
Was anyone else amused that all of the terrorist attacks were timed for 4:20 New York time? So is this entire show centered around a group of pothead terrorists?
Doobicon
Actually, perhaps that’s why the show is so slow-paced. It’s written about and by potheads.
The timing of the 4:20 attacks is really rather interesting. It’s a tip of the hat to potheads, but I think that the timing of the attacks is so that the various co-conspirators will know which attacks belong to the conspiracy.
My favorite scene was when will found David Bloom waiting where he expected Katherine. So many possible levels of ambiguity.
The next few episodes are going to be very interesting.
11/3/10: Well, things have certainly heated up. An excellent episode that was a great payoff to the long build-up. I guess Will is protecting his girlfriend by sending her away.
Will seems to have a real problem with saying stuff. There has to be ways he can explain to people why he can’t explain things to people, but instead he stares at them silently.
Just popping in to report that I haven’t missed an episode and find it to be a rewarding series. I’ve grown to like the characters, especially the “bad guys” and the Miles guy. ( Dallas Roberts - IMDb ) I saw him in a trailer/teaser for some other show I watch and am looking forward to more of him.
Arliss is making the show as I see it. Dale is a cipher.
The boss guy needs to be drawn and quartered, and I believe they will give that task to Grant.
It appears that the whole Kateb (sp?) story is tied into the cabal that Will has uncovered. The season should be about ready to end, so this could be a real cliff-hanger.
Two more episodes, I think. I’ve been wondering if things will be neatly wrapped up (I doubt it) or if some threads will be left open for a second season. As much as I like this show, it’s difficult to imagine how they could move forward after wrapping up this storyline. They would have to focus more on external spy stuff, rather than the internal intrigue that has been the cause of the paranoid atmosphere this season. Which would make it seem like a different show.
Any word on if they’re even planning a season 2? The ratings haven’t been that great, have they?
I’m glad I stuck with this series, as the payoff has been pretty good. The ep last night was pretty tense and the rivalry between the CIA and API was fun. I kept thinking “go to a fucking video store!” however. Was that film a red herring, or is there more to come? The exposure of the cabal still needs to happen, but I fear a second season may not be in the offing.
Well, it ended and I guess I’m the last fan in America at this point. I didn’t expect Mrs. Rumour to end up like that. They left room for another season, but it doesn’t seem like there is much buzz for it. Too bad, it’s a good cast and show.
I’m still a fan, though I wish there had been a bit more resolution in this episode–especially if the show doesn’t get picked up for a second season.
The death of Mrs. Rhumor took me by surprise, too. So was Will’s neighbor really trying to protect her? Or was she just getting her out in the open where the bad guys could get to her?
… As much as I like this show, it’s difficult to imagine how they could move forward after wrapping up this storyline. …
I gave up watching after half a dozen episodes, but I have a pretty good guess. The first secret conspiracy will cover an even GREATER secret conspiracy, which, of they make it to season 3, will tun out to cover a still greater conspiracy…
I had hopes for this show, but it makes CSPAN’s Booknotes look like an action adventure series.

I’m still with it - just a few episodes behind. I think they get points for killing off a central character, but then I don’t know what leads up to that so we’ll have to see.
I still get thoroughly wrapped up in it. I’ll have to try to analyze my thoughts next time I watch since I’m still not sure why it has that affect on me.

Since the boss got the clover, he’ll be gone. Will will have to try to prove the others’ involvement in the plot. Kale will be promoted to Truxton’s spot and Will will move up to Kale’s job, most likely. The cabal could try to frame Will and Kale as co-conspirators or something.

That’s at least a plausible way to get into a Season 2 run. Has anything been said officially one way or the other about S2? There are too many dangling factors just to leave it where it is.

Happens to series all the time. Look at Rome and Deadwood, arguably the two best series ever produced. Both axed because of production costs.
