Eh, it’s pretty clear that mswas was commenting on his own notions of how wise the law was. Then Rubystreak got a little huffy about how she knew the law, which at no point was controverted by him. I think part of the reason she got so upset about his mentioning that she was a teacher (in a way that no one would construe as an attack on the teaching profession) was because she was enjoying playing lay lawyer and felt his remark deflated that pretension.
Using his expression of aggravation about his rambunctious kid against him in a totally unrelated way is a particularly classless move.

I’m pretty sure that’s not true. I’ve never given you shit about your new urbanism stance or the like. Seems we mostly differ on religion and gay rights, I think. But that’s irrelevant.
