Running digital distribution game sale/special thread

Anyone else playing this? It’s a fun little indie turn-based dungeon crawler, in which you recruit a “guild” of explorers to fight monsters and ultimately take down another rival guild. The cool thing is that your character stats are reset to zero at the start of each adventure, so your special attacks are entirely dependent on random loot you earn from battles. I knew it was something special after watching three complete Let’s Plays using completely different characters and battle strategies.

Anyway, it’s 40% off this week on Steam. I purchased it yesterday at full price. :smack:

What is it?

Guild of Dungeoneering.

(I wrote it on the title line, guess that doesn’t display sometimes.)

GOG is having a Electronic Arts sale until Tuesday. Their entire EA catalog, apparently.

Rise of the Tomb Raider is down to $18 (from $60) at GameStop online for a Steam key. Season Pass is $9 although TR 2013’s DLC was pretty lame.

Also, this week’s Humble Weekly is pretty good: Ink, Speedrunners, Divekick, Grim Fandango Remastered and Dead State all for under $3 (combined) at the moment.

That’s a really good price, though it’s “download to the US only”

Still, there’s some self paced training stuff I want to get through first before I’ll pick it up. :frowning:

I assume they mean that they only sell the Steam key to US addresses due to distribution agreements. Amazon is the same way about their digital purchases. Typically the key itself is a ROW key since it’s rare for a Steam key to be North America (much less United States) specific.

I had to google ROW = Rest Of the World, got it. The deal has expired already.

Yeah, maybe it was a glitch or error (heck of a discount for a just released game).

Whether or not it’s supposed to be that cheap, that’s not what they’re charging. If you add it to your cart it’s $59.99.

Whoops.

Yeah, it ran overnight and this morning but a little while ago it appears to have been fixed/changed.

Thanks for the heads up, worth it just for Grim Fandango.

ETA: It’s on for another 10 hours in case anyone’s interested.

WinGameStore is having a sale on a bunch of Steam games. Looks like set sales and then rotating “flash” sales through March 1st. A lot of 66-75% deals, albeit it mainly on some older or indie type stuff.

Fallout 4 is $30 from Amazon (not digital, looks like they’re clearing out physical stock?)

GMG having a spring sale, with an extra $20 off the listed prices when you spend >$10.

It’s worth noting that this is 20% off. $20 off a purchase greater than 10 bucks would be a pretty sweet deal, though!

Yep, sorry, brain fart.

Ryse: Son of Rome on sale from Steam for $4.99. Not a great game overall, but for what fun there is to be had, that’s probably the right price.

Last 24 hours of the Green Man Gaming sale. As usual, high likelihood anything on sale worth owning you already do, but worth a look if there’s something from 2014 and back that you’re missing.

GOG recently added a handful of 2K games to their catalog and are having a sale on them to celebrate. 50% for individual games and bundles at 66%.
