Running into a friend...(A poll/game)

Here is a little game to try with anyone…

You are Person A. Your friend is Person B.

You wake up in a strange room with a strange man standing next to your bed. He says, “You have been moved here and Person B has been moved someplace else. You and Person B must end up at the same place at the same time. You cannot communicate with Person B in any way. No messages, notes, signs or anything else. Quite simply, you must think of a place AND a time which Person B would think to meet you and see if that is the same time and place you would think to meet them. You have one year. Good luck.” He leaves. You find yourself in some random (but friendly) spot in the world.

Obviously this is a mental exercise, so there are no travel restrictions. If you and Person B both say you’d end up on top of a Pyramid on June 22nd, that works. If you say on top of the Pyramid on June 23rd and they say June 20th, no good.

Remember, you have to both say the same place and same time. So saying “I’d go home and wait” isn’t really in line with the concept of this game. Saying, “I’d be at our house on our anniversary” is perfectly legitimate.

Pick a friend to try this with. Do not say anything to the other person other than giving them the conditions that they and you both need to specify a place and time and see if it matches. See if you’d end up at the same place at the same time.

My wife and I did not. sigh

I’ll have to try this!
