Actually, I had heard of Alinsky before he became the right’s boogeyman de jour. Read a Playboy interview with him back in the '70s I think. Although undeniably a man of the left, Alinsky was first and foremost a tactician and tactics are neutral, adoptable by any side in an argument. I would imagine that an investigation of his works would highlight many tactics used by the new right in its rise to power.
Perhaps what the OP is really here to tell us is that it’s a mistake to be too complacent about the recent banning of three troll-like creatures in a row, because it’s a lot like bailing a sinking ship: you have to work fast to stay ahead of the game.
