One of buddies went thru a reputable site. Can’t remember name, but they were very upfront with the costs and such, no guarentee, etc… At first we were all very skeptical, but in the end it kinda worked out. Two kids and several years later they are still together. Him, think Average Joe with a beer belly. Her, jawdropping blond bombshell.
I signed up on the website of one of those agencies, and got some response from damn fine-looking women. The thing that attracted me were the number of 18-23YO women who were looking for a man aged 35-45. Sign me up for that! (Actually, a couple years ago a woman I know who immigrated from Ukraine offered to fix me up with her 16YO cousin, who was visiting. I said, “Isn’t she kind of young?” and she said, “So?” 
Now, while I wasn’t totally averse to the idea - indeed, 16 is the age of consent in my state, and the cousin was hot - I decided that taking her up on that offer would lead to no good. While such an arrangement may be common and even encouraged in her native country, a 37YO man dating and/or marrying a 16YO girl in the US would just be asking for trouble.)
As it is, I signed up on the site before I noticed how much I would have to pay the agency to actually meet some of these women. Once I saw the cost (which worked out to 25% to 50% of my paltry annual income), I sighed bitterly and deactivated my account.
There’s hordes of boards but hoards of steppes.

Anyone “Russian” woman who contacts you through the “big” ersonals pages is a scam.
The scam is that they “love you” and are going to come see you but need “money” to pay for some expense. Every web site I read basically stated, that Russian women don’t come here to visit, you are expected to go there to visit.
There are a few web sites out there that post the pictures and letters you can expect to get. Try typing some of the gramitcally incorrect statements in google and you get some cool ones.
It is pretty clear most of the “young ladies” are actually 45 year old men looking to take your money.

All you had to do is put up with crap for not more than 14 years. A 51 yr old man married to a 30 yr old woman would not raise too many eyebrows.
And if she’s hot at 16 and doesn’t gain too much weight or get into booze/drugs/smoking, you have a 50/50 chance she’ll still be hot at 30.
In fact, there’s a much greater chance that she’ll still be hot at 30 than that she’ll still be married to you at 30. Irrespective of the age difference, how many people in a modern free society stay together for decades with somebody they took up with at age 16?
Okay, Woody Allen and his former stepdaughter Soon-Yi are still married, but I’d guess that kind of longevity in what starts out as an adult/teenager relationship is pretty rare.
Not too many men’s eyebrows, that is. Unless she had some seirous h00ters. And let’s face it, she would.
Well, from what I’ve read and been told, the big age differences are common enough in the former Soviet Union that it probably wouldn’t seem odd to the girl since she was born and raised there.
On another topic… I was looking at another one of these sites a few years ago, and was amused by one particular woman’s ad. I guess the men in her hometown must have been kind of short, because she specified that she wanted a man who was taller than 160cm. That’s 5-foot-3. Not gonna be a problem if she was looking for an American husband!
So the women out number the men in Russia and thus are searching for foreign men - I’m guessing it also has something to do with alcoholism rates amongst those few available men in Russia too.
But guess what - they have just done the number crunching and apparently there are 20,000 less men than women in the 20 - 40 year old age bracket here in New Zealand. On the news they said that a single woman in her 30s has as much chance of finding a guy as a single woman in her 80s?!
