Russian Squirrels Kill Dog For Food

You think people would intervene in an animal fight in which one would be wholly justified in suspecting the involvement of rabies? I would watch from a safe distance.

if it had said the dog was a yorkie or somre other miniature breed, then I night have believed it. Amedium - large dog though? No way. There was even an expert in the article who voiced his doubts. No way this happened.

Hmmm…there was an AD&D monster called the Carnivorous Squirrel. Attacked in swarms.

What next? A Balrog working at Pizza Hut?

It’s a good thing that the only kind of nut I might have on my person would be a pack of peanut M&Ms then, isn’t it? I can just ditch the candy and run far, far away.

As I said in my other post on the subject (coughcoughgrumblegrumble): I, for one, welcome our new nut-gathering overlords. I’ve always said they were evil. And they’re everywhere too. Just calmly running around and filling their little cheeks as though they weren’t planning some sort of world domination.
Mark my words, it’s only a matter of time before this happens.

Isn’t anyone going to compliment my wit???

We were trying to be diplomatic.

*Compliment *is not quite the word.

Linky-link does not work.

Me neither. Note they give a source as “Komosmolskaya Pravda”. Dunno if that’s connected with THE Pravda, but if so, it’s about as reliable as the National Enquirer.

And the BBC did put up an article on their site from a US correspondent that called Mayor Nagin “genuinely heroic”.

It’s obvious the BBC is no longer to be accepted without question.

If I had to guess what really happened, it’d be a squirrel or two feeding on an already dead dog carcass.

Sure. “You want wings with that?”

Gandalf as a cop: Okay, a delivery guy. You just passed in a no passing zone, I’m gonna have to give you a ticket.
Balrog: Grumble, grumble.

It does work if you click on “go” beside the URL in your address bar.

Exalt? Worship? Praise?

Well, that would definitely save money; who needs ovens ?

Did anyone see this?
Monster mice eat seabirds
It looks for real. And very sad.
