A friend is looking at purchasing a Russian Orthodox Bible (He collects them). He’s found one on EBay, but would like to know what it says on one of the pics posted, the third image down. I know the last three lines are “Patriarch of Moscow and All Russia Alexy II,”(I had an idea that what it was since I knew who Alexy II was and Google Translate confirmed it) but what’s the first line? So, can anyone please provide a translation?
Transliterated, it’s “Po blagosloveniyu” but I dont know what that traslates to. Po is a preposition.
Not much help, I know, but it’s what little I can provide.
By the blessing of The Holy Patriarch of Moscow and all Russia Alexei II.
Thank you (спасибо).
